What a find! Sharon has enabled my parents to continue to live in the comfort and familiarity of their own home with her daily support and care. Adapting to their needs over the months, she started with short companionship calls and now is doing longer visits including cooking, laundry, personal care and light armchair exercises. Plus, she can drive them to appointments and the shops which is so helpful when I live 2 hours away. The best thing is it's all done with a smile, good humour and lovely conversation which brightens up their day. Her knowledge and experience dealing with Alzheimer's has been invaluable. I don't know what we would do without her.

We as a family are in debited for the personal care assistance Sharon Hogg as Positive Home Help provides to my parents (Heather & Geoffrey Pearce). My mother suffers from Parkinson Disease and has done for several years and my father suffers from mobility issues. Sharon provides assistance 4 hours a week.
Sharon helps bath my mother, makes drinks and assist her with her breakfast. Sharon also takes helps my mother take her monitor her blood pressure. She undertakes light domestic duties, cleaning mum and dads' bedroom, changing bedsheets, cleaning the bathroom, tidying the kitchen, taking rubbish out. Sharon takes my mother to some of her appointments and on occasions, social events.
Sharon also helps my father with leg exercises and has encouraged him to walk more, walking to the shops rather than using the car.
My parents trust Sharon and feel relaxed in her company and my mother finds it easy to talk to Sharon about her personal care. This has made a real difference not least as my father always is not physical able to assist mum. Sharon's assistance helps to sustain mum and dad to remain living in their own home.
We as a family are really grateful for the care Sharon provides.

Sharon became mums personal assistant 7 months ago. Sharon has proved to be invaluable to mum and has really connected with her as she has a very cheerful and happy disposition. I receive regular updates from Sharon on any health changes, domestic issues and photos of what they do together (consented) which always bring a smile to my face. Sharon is honest, dependable,communicative and has formed a great bond with my mum. She has had such a positive impact on my mums health and well being and she will always go that extra mile. We have been blessed finding Sharon !
